An Albion Rovers fan on P&B says that Rovers don't have pitch covers and there is frost on top of frost. The main stand side of the park doesn't get the sunshine either. Hopefully thaw in time. Supposed to be 7 degrees C on Saturday.

Surely a minimum requirement of a senior team should be to have frost covers. I hate a weekend off work and no football so here's hoping !

I'm sure as we worry about Saturday in Coatbridge the latest technology available in North Lanarkshire will be applied, and bales of straw will be spread over the playing surface

Albion Rovers are managed by Darren Young who is of course the brother of former Queens player Derek Young

I wonder if he'll be invited along to perform the half-time draw ?

Good point Arrol . What about Dougie Mills or Dunky Shields ? Tommy Nolan would be my choice to do the HT draw. What do you think Albertz ?

You remember former Albion Rovers player Victor Kasule ? His great auntie Betty once drove through Dumfries on her way to Carlisle

I wonder if he'll be asked to perform the half-time draw ?

Vodka Vic, voted Albion Rovers all time cult hero in 2005, certainly a big enough star for that job
