    Joe Bryan

Derby and Sunderland are currently tracking £2.5m rated Bristol City wing back Joe Bryan. A working partnership with fellow colleague Aden Flint at Derby would be a perfect combination to solve our defensive problems we have had this season.

I think your right. Sensible option, take half the outfield defence from a team that barely escaped relegation and conceded 66 league goals and put it into a team that only conceded 50.

This is a perfect combination to solve our defensive problems.

So two players were at fault for the whole majority of Bristol City barely escaping from relegation were they? Don't make me laugh.... 😂

    That doesnt make sense?

How can they be at fault for surviving relegation?

Anyway, what I meant, which I had put in simple terms, but I can say again is. You want us to sign 2 of 4 defensive players that conceded 66 goals and replace 2 players from our team that only conceded 50. Sorry I have just repeated myself, either way, I don't think you will answer.

How about we set our sights lightly higher? Maybe a CH with proven experience, a guy that can captain a side? A person not afraid to shout at players and give out a *******ing on the pitch when needed? Must be plenty about.....

So you gloat sarcastically and put utter drivel about, that signing Aden flint and Joe Bryan would be a mistake because they were at fault for leaking 66 goals this season and by buying them would make our defence much worse, "one swallow doesn't make a summer" as they saying goes, and that the reason for them leaking so many goals was a team contribution not solely on two players.

You really talk out of your arse just like Swale. 🙄

You must of also missed that Aden Flint was one of the top defenders in the Championship this season despite Bristol City's worries. 🙄

Thats the problem isnt it though. A player who looks decent in a weak side, is not necessarily any good in a better team. Sometimes they are, and sometimes they are not.

Derby County are in a bit of a mess at the moment, but 2 key things have happened which mean we can move forward again.

Firstly that odious creep Mr. Rush has been sacked. It was clear to a blind and deaf man that he was responsible for some of our dealings ie. Darren Bent contract extension.

Secondly we have a young hungry manager with different ideas. For a manager with limited experience he has done well and his removal at Birmingham is one of the most bizarre footballing decisions I have seen in years.

We need to start rebuilding the squad again and not only the team. Forget all media and paper talk, even Steve Nicholsen in the Telegraph, 90% is usually wrong or inaccurate.

There used to be a poster on here called SuperDerbySuperRam I think and he was one of the only guys who was really spot on every time.

The specualtion posts are fun, but in reality that is all they are

If we ca get a fit Thorne back in the Team ,Forsyth fit and Shackell fit firing
Martin back with a point to prove ,surely we would be stronger than last season
Maybe a couple of new players mainly right back and perhaps another centre half things could look very different .

It may not need too much to put things right

Playing for a weaker side doesn't make you necessarily decent, it just makes you stand out more from the rest of the weaker pack and easier to spot talent from the rest of the squad, it also doesn't mean he won't be necessarily any better in another team because it depends on the team involvement around him to get the best out of him. If he is an outstanding Individual that plays for a weaker side it shows he is capable for playing in a side that is on a bigger scale to the current club he is at.

As for Sam Rush... he is no longer at the club and is no longer any value to the clubs future progress and quite frankly, not of any ones problems anymore.

"Forget about all the media" No thanks!
