Did I hear tonight on Sky that we have not won away from home for 2 months now?

Five away games without a win. A win in our next away game (Luton) would be timely and could see us open up a 3 point lead at the top.

We've not won away since beating Exeter at the end of September

I remember Nathan Jones coming in to Luton around the same time as Fullacrap took over us and what a polar opposite he turned out to be... they will take some stopping this season

.....and we only lost 1 point to 8th place....it was 9 points on Saturday, 8 tonight....no point in getting too upset, we're in a cracking position

To be fair I should have said the singular, wasn’t aimed at you. I think the frustrating thing is we know he’s not the best but we have no realistic options:

1: The transfer window is shut we can’t sign a replacement

2: Is Hollis a suitable replacement?

3: Does Nolan think he’s ok, and sees no problem?

Whatever the answer IF ( and that’s the important thing ) Nolan wants to replace him we just can’t at the moment so have to live with what we have. We are in a great position none of us really expected us to be in, we have to try and make the best with what we have and not start a witch hunt when a mistake is made. Look at last year some players including Duffy were scared at the Lane in case they made a mistake and the crowds reaction. We can’t go back to a situation like that it will just breed more mistakes, it’s all about confidence, we need to get behind players not slate them.

... couldn't give a damn about what some of you complacent/head in the sand denyers think. We've known from last season that Duffy is a liability. He may have improved but he is past it ... now too slow; he has genuine low cunning, having reached the stage of his career where he has to resort to trying to cheat both referees and against other players. He's a disgrace.

Well said....no point in slagging players off when we're in such a cracking position....I wasn't a huge fan of Stead 5 or 6 games ago, but we keep nailing the 2 points a game average and I'm well happy with that

Thanks for your insight and reasoned answers on how we fix the problem in the meantime. Just read your posts, and see how you offer no solutions just rants.

I wouldn't say he is a disgrace, I'm just not convinced he is good enough in a team looking for promotion... has too many off days and at least a serious mistake a game in him... disappointing that we couldn't hang on tonight but hey its a point on the road, but in saying that our record on the road for a team in second place is not exactly amazing but if we keep doing the business at home then we will be laughing...
