    As much as I find this sort of behaviour abhorrent, banners and minutes applauses are going to do nothing to stamp it out. Those minions that did that to the poor guy dont give a shyte if there is an outrage. They are scum, its what they do and they do it to provoke an reaction. If you had the audacity to spit on a blind dude, would you give a shyte about a banner or applause?

    As for the chants, songs etc well football fans are a strange being. Christ, some folk sing songs about the referee being a ***** and a horses ass... its not exactly poetic. I myself act completely different at the football than i do outside it and while i dont tend to endorse folk being dicks, at the footy its almost expected.

    Just to add, im not condoning what happened to that guy at all. If I saw that i would knock the cuunts out. Theres a difference between banter and c*ntery.

    The last time we played at Easter Road a manky hibs housewife spat on an Aberdeen fan after the game. It was all captured on video too I'm sure. Funk the round of applause, eye for an eye and all that...
