Last 20 minutes papered over the cracks.

4-1 down before we start playing shows a total lack of character.

Shocking 1st half, better in the 2nd half.

Drop Flood & Lewis & we could have the makings of a team that could compete...in the Championship.

If there is any truth that we have to play Lewis otherwise we have to play his wages, then we should see if we can send him back to Southampton. IMO at fault for all 4 goals. First - poor positioning and for someone supposedly 6’3” his lack of height is alarming. Second - poor positioning again made it easy for GMS to score. Third - if he was in the middle of his goal he could have taken a step to his left & saved the header. Fourth - enough said. He appears to be so short of confidence he is not what we need in our current predicament.

Did we watch the same game? I thought he was actually playing for them at one point!

Pass marks today for Gillespie, Stanton and McMullen, then after them King did ok but when are managers gonna realize that if you loose a defender, you dont have to move the one who has done ok this season. Felt for Durnan today as he in no way is a left sided defender. Should have kept him on the right side and allowed him to do what he has done all season and cover the gaps left by others!

And if we have made any money from this, we should use it to either drop Lewis or let him go back home. Yes he did have some fine saves, but he was at fault for at least 3 of their goals.

Surely enough money today for Harry’s train fare home, or plane or taxi or whatever makes sure he goes.

The menace deserves his chance soon before he realises he must be worse keeper to never get a sniff of a Game.

That’s a wind up....the lads finished.....should be retired for his own good, so far off the pace and the game it was embarrassing, a poor, poor, player now.

He’s the biggest problem in our midfield, assuming he’s even in close to being in the midfield he’s so badly out of position most of the time.

Has to be removed for benefit of all.

if you are going to play one up front away from home go with McMullan ahead of MacDonald, it was quite effective early in the season, and at least he has the pace to get in behind defences.

The space all over the park today for Aberdeen when ever they went forward was frightening. The Jan signings not really addressed the problems we had (Ling and Slatter anyway). Slatter is leightweight and similar to what we have, and Ling, besides not looking very good (nice pass for goal), might be big but is not physical and can win headers.

Would excuse him for the third but the rest were his fault.

Aberdeen were very poor today and did nothing much to get their 4 goals, a familiar tale this season. I'd like to think we could take something from a positive last 20 minutes but I think that just came from throwing caution to the wind with nothing to lose.

To be fair, the tools could have been really downed at 4-1 and that could have ended up as bad as, if not worse, than the Funsters last season. To their great credit, they didn't capitulate and I thought did pretty well second half. Had that chance their keeper saved on 86 minutes gone in to make it 4-3 then it would have been an interesting last few minutes. To summarise, I would suggest that first half we saw a team that would struggle to stay in the Championship, second half was a mid table Premiership team. Much, much, more of the latter, and much less of the former may yet give us a chance this season.

To his credit, McInnes in his post match interviews was questioning United's current predicament on the basis of the second half performance.
