    I could be wrong, but I think that's possibly the first time since Dyche arrived that you could accuse his team of not turning up. There's no guarantee of a win, a draw or even a good game, but you normally get maximum effort. I think we threw one in at Hull a couple of seasons ago, I wasn't there so I don't know how little effort there was that day, but it certainly persuaded Dyche to make changes. I wonder how he'll react to the players putting on this non-event.

    Me and the lad went to Hull on that fateful Boxing Day in Hull. We stayed at the Premier Inn with around another disconsolate fifty Burnley fans. Over late night drinks we all thought we wouldn't make the play-offs after that performance.

    What happened next? We went unbeaten for the rest of the season and won the League!

    Dyche has a cupboard full of "Brownie Points" as far as I am concerned, we will probably win the Europa League and the FA Cup and challenge the top six all next season!
