Having suffered most of the cricket played at Trent Bridge this year I fear for us. Poor recruitment, mismanagement of the overseas situation and the biggest problem for me - Mick Newell. He managed to get himself out of the firing line when things were going badly, Moores kept us up that season but, for me, doesn't have too much say about recruitment, that's down to our Director of Cricket who could never decide whether or not Notts or England was his priority.
I'm not optimistic about the rest of the season but if things go badly, Newell will survive and will still be supported by a core of players who will run to him and undermine Moores as stated by a previous poster. It's going to take something drastic to turn this around, Libby, Root, Fraine and Nash not good enough, Wessels, Samit and Gurney all past their best along with Ball being under par. Apart from that everything seems ok.
