    They compounded their mistake by not cutting their losses and sacking McClaren at Christmas when it was crystal clear what was going to happen. If we'd got Rafa then, relegation wouldn't have happened.

    I, for one was very surprised that MacMuffin was ever appointed in the first place. Even by then before he was appointed here he'd found himself a place on the ridicule plinth throughout the whole country.

    Imagine spending months wooing him from Derby when you look at several young up and coming managers who would have given anything to come here, even under Ashley.

    TO be honest, if we'd fired him after the bournemouth debacle (i think) we'd of been safe i reckon as Rafa would have had 3 extra games.
