A great song that fits into that category that I have witnessed myself is the green and red of Mayo by the saw doctors. I think my ears didn't recover for 2 weeks after hearing that live.
Being a bit of a punk, which is the most impressive live performance of a song for pure energy etc? I would go for Killing in the name of by Rage against the machine, Finsbury park.

Any song by twisted sister! Saw them in ‘82 and the Octogen and it was bouncing!

'Don't waste my time'. Status Quo. My favourite song from my favourite all time band. City Hall '75.
The Groundhogs had some good powerful songs in the 70s as well. A very underrated band in my opinion.
Going Underground. The Jam. Royal Hall Bridlington. July 2nd 1981
Knights of Cydonia - Muse
Wanted by The Dooleys. Rotherham Trades 1978. Singer started chewing on the inner thigh of backing singer in sheer passion. Drummer set fire to flautist. Two gorgeous backing singers twirked the mayor. All ended in death,
Great night.
