romain saiss is one tidy player..hope he stays..think he edges dendocker on overall usefulness
Romain Saiss, is according to the Spanish media, attracting interest from Atletico Madrid. The player cost Wolves around £3.5 million, while a fee of £6 million is being mentioned. He did well last year in the Championship, but has found playing time this season, hard to come by. He is however, a versatile player covering in midfield or back three. If we could replace him with better, it might be good business to let him go, particularly now Dendoncker has started to shine in the middle of the park.

I like Saiss as a player, but he's not going to get regular football at Wolves. When you have Neves, Moutinho and at the moment Dendoncker in front of him then maybe he will see his future elsewhere, Both he and Dendoncker can play in a number of positions so that helps.
Always done a job when needed but as you say, when you have that level of quality already in midfield and a regular back three, playing time is always going to be restricted to cup games and because of injuries and suspensions.
I rate him but but always have a doubt regarding his temperament.
It looks like he's been offered a new contract according to The Telegraph, good news really, but will Saiss be happy to play back up?

As Dendoncker has now established himself alongside Neves and Moutinho it is very much a case of whether Saiss will accept his role as a utility / cover player... having quality cover is going to be increasingly imoportant if we are going to sustain our mid-table status. He's not quite there as a first choice for me, he's a good physical presence and has chipped in with a couple of important goals... however, he lacks pace and his choice of pass isn't always the best. He is however a valuable squad member who can fit in a number of positions when required, on balance I hope he stays.
The club have announced that Romain has signed a new deal keeping him at Wolves until 2021. He is a useful squad player, and should we manage to obtain European Football next season, he will be needed.
Look's happy enough!
