The administrators of Paragon have also spoken to Radio Nottm and said they support efforts to sell the club. Hearing it from them gives me a little more faith that there might be a solution, although clearly it needs to be found quickly. Would they be willing to wait on calling the debt in if they didn't think a takeover was possible?

Since the club has negative worth, ie only owns what it owes to Paragon, and now a debt to HMRC, what choice do they have? It's not being done out of the goodness of their heart - their sole responsibility is to maximise the value of Paragon.

That's kinda my point. They're obviously not doing it out of charity. If they didn't think there was a realistic chance of a solution what would be the benefit of waiting?

'cause when these billionaire consortiums come charging in then the Administrators will get something back instead of nothing back.

He was Rodwell's drinking partner. Not enough money to keep a football club going...

Doesn't need all of them to have loads of personal cash - needs them to be able to get their hands on cash from good sources.
