Well this is certainly a rallying call directly from the club appealing to the people of Dumfries to come out and support their hame team so hopefully it will not fall on deaf ears and some of those that were there are the Hampden games can turn out in numbers to help the club in their hour of need. Mon the South.
its defo good that the club have made an attempt at haveing a plea to the fans ,but as these next two home games are crucial to the club id like to have seen reduced prices in there plea to get as many as possible in ,just feels like an empty plea ,10 quid for adults and free for kids and concessions ,might just add about between 3-500 more for pars game ,but i reckon we could be in for a bumper crowd against harry wrags on last day .
Statement should have been backed up with reducing prices....
Poor show......

Rallying call from the directors but we'll not be reducing the prices.
oh albertz theres no point arguing with them about prices and telling them what it will take to get these fans to come watch queens ,thay seem to think just pleading for fans to turn up is enough ,bottom line the board will never win with these rallying calls as there only geeing up the loyal faithful no one else and thay will never see any different ,anyways there will be a bigger than usual queens support for this game as there is something on the line to attract the stayaways .
yes I agree more fans will turn up for this game on Saturday although again I'm with francis on this I cant see these plees from our board of directors having any sway on anyone outside our current diehards .no incentives for the floating fan .
Tobacoman, - are you and Frances the same person? a sort of Mr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde who paradoxically tend to agree with each other?
Regardless, I have to totally disagree with you and your alter ego with regards to your suggestion that the BOD should reduce charges for what is a make or break match for both Queens and Partick. You constantly criticise the BOD for not having enough cash at their disposal and yet despite the fact that our manager has allowed the team to slip down the financial rankings, - you are eagerly suggesting that they reduce the prices for this crunch must see match!
To even consider such a move would be utter madness, especially as you would have to reduce the prices for the Partick fans as well, - who alone will exceed the largest attendance at Palmerston this season.
If, on the other hand, the match had been a meaningless fixture with nothing at stake for either side, - then it might have been sensible to reduce the prices as a thankyou to the faithful home fans over the season and entice a few more travelling fans.
The correct decision is to maximise the income from the match and thus minimise the losses for the season, - perchance even providing a small pot of gold that would otherwise not be available if the prices had been reduced.
Leave it as it is imo.
More chance of losing out financially.
If people can't get motivated for this make of break game then there really is no hope.
