Roll on Friday!!!!
The greatest day in my United supporting life, as good as 2010 was the feeling after 1994 was just something special, still gives me goosebumps

On another note, 14 years ago today we survived in Inverness after pulling off a great escape that saw the fun relegated at Livi
Roll on Friday!!!!
The only game that I have shed a tear at. Utter joy & relief after years of hellish results & awful journeys back from Hampden.
94 and 2010 had the same outcome but 2 very different games. In 94 we played well in both halves. First half a containment exercise. Second half a great backs to the wall performance as they threw what they had at us.
2010 my own recollection is that we didn't play that well until the first goal then it was complete domination.
I walked into Davie and Sandra Young's Marquee (next to Smugglers) and hundred's of Arabs were underneath a massive United flag singing their hearts out, that was at around 9AM.It was very difficult to get tickets for that final as our allocation was only 12000 due to renovation work at Hampden.
I will always be in debt to the late great Davie Young for getting me tickets for myself and all my family who wanted to attend,it was one of the best weekend's of my life having witnessed our previous 6 defeats, who can ever forget the scenes of joy in the city square the next day and Davie's SAS on the roof of the Caird Hall?.
The final seemed to go into slow motion after Brewster’s goal. I was there with 2 other long-standing Arabs and our 2 young lads. It took me a few seconds after the final whistle went before it really sunk in. We all shed a tear or two at the sheer relief after so many finals of disappointment.
We followed a Rangers supporters bus out of Glasgow, one of the fans turned around and looked at us waving our scarves at him. Instead of the customary abuse we are used to getting from the great unwashed he smiled and gave us the thumbs up. I can still see his face to this day!
