The whole thing stinks. When you read phrases like "struck a deal" and "in the mutual interests of the club and UEFA" you just know the set up is rotten to the core.
Why can't there be pre-set meaningful punishments like 20 points deducted or 3 year bans from major competitions for clubs breaching FFP rules? The current situation just hands out a slap on the wrist and even then it seems both parties have to agree.
