Wouldnt like to think of White as a replacement for Jansson. I dont think his signing has strengthened our defence by that much.

We need a 6ft 9'' brick 5hithouse who can head the ball out of the stadium.

Lets hope not, Jansson"s the only real commanding CB we have, & on his day is more than a match for most SF.
White looks ok, but like Cooper, not that imposing, we could be looking at someone else I suppose - OConnor gone , Halme going, only leaves Shaughnessy & young Struijk, not great again.

Diaz gone as well. Can only conclude that the 'club' don't see any of them as good enough, either as back-ups, or for the future (Prem or Championship). I'd tend to agree. I don't think Shaughnessy or Struijk are good enough either, so I just can't see the club letting Pontus go, otherwise that would leave us only Cooper and White as specialist centre-halves!
