More of a collaborative effort than we're used to.
Was thinking of in-game substitutions and pre-match team selection!

Wasn't there bit of an uproar when the Danes took over at Brentford. They got rid of Warburton at the end of that season after just getting them promoted

As you say BFP, we don't know whether the compensation we get for the Dongda He's and Kion Etete's covers the cost of the youth team or not. If it does, then the new owners might keep the youth team as well as pursuing a strategy like this. It's always nice to see "one of your own" come through. If not, then the Brentford model may be the way, although we tried scrapping the youth side under Gary Mills to invest more in the first team and he wasted it. The bottom line is that our recruitment has to be better than it has been for at least the last 15 years, whoever we sign and however we sign them. Hopefully, Football Radar have the tools to make us more effective.
Jack Bearne, Dong Da He and Kion Etete's fees would have covered the clubs contribution for the academy for the last 8 years

Looks like Deirdre may have misunderstood the term 'awarded a pen' though

If that's the case then it's definitely worth continuing, even though it's frustrating to see players like that leave without contributing to our first team. We'd have to take the money for players that attract Premier League attention, and focus on bringing through other youngsters who might not have that level of ability but do have enough to play in whatever league we happen to be in. For example, some of our current youngsters like Osbourne, Dunn and Campbell might not have been quite ready for League Two, but could well make a contribution in the National League.

As you can see, they take an analytic approach to football analysis and then provide punters with specialised betting advice. As a result of their work, they have access to a **** load of data on players from all over the world.

We are assuming that their interest in Notts stems from the work they do, and that they will take a similar data-driven approach to recruitment and tactics, like Brentford (and that film Moneyball). But who knows.
Does that mean Brad Pitt will take over from Ardley?

If they are not ready for league 2 they won't make a dent in the National League.
