He could get us some points this season when he’s brought on in the last 10 mins with us losing by a goal when we’ll start pumping high balls into the box.

yeah i know that, the point i was making is that he took the plss out of the fans. Played the victim like a pro

Claiming he had no choice and was forced out etc, knowing full well the fans only needed the slightest of excuses to turn on Ashley and blame him while he leaves for more money with a clear concience.

where was the Medical carried out , in the Mourge at the R.V.I , it would have been cheaper to get a spade and dug Jackie Milburn up, probably get the same amount of game time

As long as he's free (tick) and his wages are pay for play (hopefully) and his injuries allow him some game time (potentially) then he can be a massive asset to us in terms of added ammunition.
If his desire to finish his career at his hometown club is strong then we may just get a nice big bonus player that cannot break the bank and will likely not break any spirit.

A win win win if all the things I mention are correct.
At the very worst end of the deal I would hope, if we do sign him for the year and it isn't pay for play then I hop[e his wages are at least halved.
I actually have to agree with Ghost on this.

I wouldn't have had him back but since we weren't going to get anybody else at this point then this could work for all of us involved.

Plus, i still rate him better than Hosse Poo.

One pleasing thing about it, if it does go through and Carroll becomes a success he will still have no sell on value and that will leave Ashley with a bad taste in his mouth.

Carroll been available all summer and we sign him on deadline day,3 days before a supposed boycott.Timing is perfect again and probably puts a few thousand more on the attendance.
I just hope people are not fooled again.

Andy Carrol was a young d1ckhead, now, he's just a dickhead. However he is our d1ckhead.

Lads a Geordie who loves a pint.

    I'm a d1ckhead who doesn't get to play football for a living but I'd bet I'd still be a d1ckhead who likes a beer if I were.

If we're not paying him when he's injured, I'm alright with it.

We needed someone who will show Joelintoon what the fans want to see from his experience both as a fan and as player, being one of us n all.

If he does get fit, the new wide men can find that sledgehammer diving header a few times a season, that'll do for me.

You can't polish a turd lads, Ashley appears to have rolled it in glitter.

Alls we can hope for now is some frigging ACTION.

    Game on!
