After very nearly going down the same league expulsion as Bury,now Bolton,with the help of the EFL, have suddenly become the Man City of league 1.Our next home game is against these and we will not be playing kids like Ipswich,Gillingham and Tranmere had as "opposition".They break all the rules and come out of it all, smelling of roses.As others have said they should have been restricted by not allowing players in until January.Better still ,too late now,but the EFL should not have allowed them to start the seasons fixtures like Bury.This mess STINKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the EFL put a transfer embargo or prevented Bolton from starting the season it would be penalising the new owners when in fact it’s the previous owner that’s to blame.
Twelve points deduction for going into Administration and two outstanding misconduct charges to be sorted, all down to the previous owner and not the consortium Football Ventures.

It’s a quick fix FB to help them out of trouble. O’Grady has played for Hill before so he knows all about him.
Murphy, O’Grady and Emmanuel have signed till the end of the season.

I read somewhere that Football Ventures had paid £17M for Bolton and a further £10M for the hotel.

Before I spent £27M on a football club in admin I would want some assurances from the EFL that I would be able to sign players once the deal was done. especially as they only had 5 senior players on the books.
