When folk worked darn pit it wo easier to establish relationships within the community cos all blowks went to work together, wives ed get to know each other and same wi kids. Nardays thaz got a lot mooar immigration which ent helped and no local industries to bond folk. Mooar women ev to work to mek ends meet which ent helped either. At work nar tha just gets folk bad marthin each other wi petty office politics rather than watchin each others back. In turn that kind o attitude has sadly gone into most neighbourhoods.
