Well that answers the red card debate, were there ever any question. Two footed, off feet, no where near the ball. No debate there.
Their player’s own reaction said it all - he knew it was a red straight away. I assume Barrow won’t bother appealing the decision; be a waste of a fax/stamp if they do.
Some fans could see one of their players decapitate someone at the knee and they’d argue it was a yellow card at best. We’ve had similar comments after some of our blatant red cards this season (Doyle against Halifax, for instance).
