Is this a new series, Demonic Cummings and Goings?
It could run for a month or two but I don't think it'll be any threat to Neighbours.
Talking about Dominic Cummings of course.
I don't think he'll walk or be sacked. But can his behaviour be defended after all that we were told?
Lots of holes in the story imo.
Today a statement from Downing Street says that he went as there was 'a high likelihood that he himself would become unwell' yet a couple of days earlier they had previously said he was showing symptoms.
Then there are the conflicting stories of Downing Street who say nobody related to Mr Cummings was spoken to by police although the police have confirmed that they spoke to the owners of a property on 31st March after a call from someone reporting they had seen Mr Cummings in the area. Sky News say the statement from Downing Street raises questions, including whether the response suggests police are lying.
Michael Gove said 'Caring for your wife and child is not a crime'. Yet if I was to go to the home of a family member who was ill, and lived across the road, unconnected to Covid-19 it would be.
What a mess!

Stay.
When the government and their people make these rules, they obviously don’t mean they apply to THEM.
I think it's fairly obvious he should go, but even though it will be massively unpopular and create no end of problems for the government, I think he will stay.
He should go but I don't think he will. There's an impasse in that half of the cabinet have backed him this morning.
And what they're saying is essentially correct, you're own family are more important than anyone.
Except that's the opposite of what they have been telling us for the past 10 or so weeks.
Why was Cummings any more likely to get too ill to look after his family than the rest of us?
Political point scoring for a lot of people, definitely, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't go. Conservatives would be calling for senior Labour figures to resign if it was them and rightly so.
Darling, you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go
If you say that you are mine
I'll be in Durham in no time
So you got let me know
Should I stay or should I go
This is about left v right, not right v wrong.
The socialists would sack every tory if they could, for the flimsiest of reasons.
If we were to sack politicians for doing wrong, the houses of parliament would be empty.
I go out in my car daily, and walk the dog. I domt always keep 2 metres away. Nobody is wanting me sacked. Or punished.
The left are gangsters .
I think Cummings and the Government have made a mistake here, but it's not the trip to Durham that bothers me. The mistake is to issue quite a detailed response to the 'story' instead of ignoring or dismissing it in the briefest of terms.
