Actually, if you are a conspiracy theorist, it could be fixed.
When the first ball is put in , its spun round the bowl. The next ball is put in and spun to chase the first ball.
When the gadjee then waits to let the balls spin more (but the 2nd ball is still chasing the front ball), the gadjee puts his hand in at the front and catches the ball as it comes round.
They could have had more balls in the pot ( make it 6 balls instead of only 3 and no need for the middle pot) and simply make it ABBA style, rotating between seeded and unseeded pots.
