Des O'Connor 88.
Another in the "thought he'd went years ago" category.

It’s a strange one this.
While my own memory is sitting through atrocious Saturday night style “entertainment “
You just know that the entire nation ( of a certain age) is looking up old Morcambe and Wise clips.
I'm surprised he was that old.
I am deriving some small amusement from Des O’Connor knocking Donald Trump down the news.
RIP
It still remains a mystery who added his '1-2-3 O'Leary' to our limited rack of 45RPM singles at home in 1968. We were still grooving to the Magical Mystery Tour double EP (the LP was a US-only release at the time) from late '67, and probably 'Lady Madonna' when Des's ****ing dreck infiltrated.
I will investigate, and if it's an ex-jukebox job, with the centre section removed, the suspect list narrows down to a single (ha!) identifiable wrong 'un.
RIP Des. Who will run that barrow in the marketplace now? The demise of UK retail right there.
