Defence go to sleep in last 15 minutes
I know it's not funny, well in a sadistic kind of way it is, but we seem to have invented many, many ways (18 is it?) this season to lose by a single goal. In typical MM fashion you are only allowed one answer until someone else has provided one. I'll go first.
Have someone red carded for an accidental clash of heads.
Defence go to sleep in last 15 minutes
If memory serves, the winning goal in the infamous Trevor Kettlegate game (what is it with us and **** refs at oakwell?!?) was from a free kick that wasn't a foul, handball, offside, a shove on Pollitt and didn't cross the line. Only time I've ever seriously considered whether a ref took a bung, which to this day I still think he did!
edit: turns out that Barnsley's late goal was actually an equaliser and Kettle couldn't find two goals for them.

Completely missing the ball when less than 6 yards out.... twice
by not having a plan B when Plan A isn't working
Wrong subs
Bringing Hirst on
Having Johannson on bench half of season
Concede a last minute penalty
Miss a penalty
