That’s probably the reason why they have stopped short in banning the women in the upcoming Euros. They will be hoping it’s all calmed down before the competition kicks off. Russia can’t turn the clock back..they will have still invaded Ukraine, killed civilians inc children, destroyed buildings and infrastructure. Ban them for at least 10 years like English clubs were excluded from European competitions back in the day.

Women’s Euro 2022 - UEFA says a decision will be made at a later date about the impact on the tournament in England in July, which Russia have qualified for.


Sorry, I’ve mis-read this UEFA statement. Thought they were saying a decision about banning them will be made at a later date.
