    Josh Benson

Apologies if this has been posted earlier.

Does anyone know if there was a buy-back clause in the sales-agreement?

He was a fresh breath in the squad and I fancied him as a future midfielder even if he didn't have the x-factor in the few games he was allowed to play, but then again not may players at our club-level do. Still can't understand the reason for selling him given the fact that we have an aging squad and midfield.

According to Acido he was not breaking any pots at Oakwell.

I heard he simply didn’t hoof it up front enough Doggert , coming from Arsenal academy he simply wanted to get the ball down and play on the floor , we soon set about knocking that out of him but in the end we had to concede that he’s a footballer and doesn’t fit the Dyche player profile - he had to go . ( tongue in cheek I know ).
The way things are at the moment though we should have held on a bit longer I think

    Thanks for the reply.
Guess that's the way the recruitement is going to be with the current regime. Instead of exploiting the players' attributes and skills, the players have to adapt to the established/preferred style of play.

Thanks for the honest appraisal, it looks like we are not having him back then Acido.

The lad seemed to have loads of potential at first Beds, but for whatever reason hes not tapped into it. In fact hes slowly got worse as the season has progressed. Disappointing Im sorry to say.

Sinkov would tell you that's par for the course with our Development Squad prodigy.
