    Handball!

Isn't it about time that football reverted back to the original ruling on handball? The original ruling stated that it was illegal if the hand struck the ball but not the ball striking the hand. Plain and simple. Some of the decisions that are given now are ridiculous. It is often impossible to avoid the ball striking the hand and all this rubbish about the hand being in an unnatural position is plain stupidity. It is physically impossible to jump without using the arms as leveridge and it is often also impossible to avoid a ball hitting the arm when fired from point blank range, no matter where the arm is.

No, it’s the same for both sides.

If it hits the hand it should be a penalty, at least that’s clear.

I agree. Point blank can’t get out of the way penalties are ridiculous.

Handball is a clear rule. If not interpreted properly then it is down to the nupties looking at var.
So it is the nupties with bags of incompetence that screw it up.
Now the offside rule is a mess.....go the way we use to play as kids with jumpers as goals.....NO OFFSIDE.

That wouldn’t work at The Albion, Zohore would catch cold if he took his jumper off.

Use to love the jumper goal posts, by the end of game your goal has gone from 8 feet across to something like 3 feet...

You couldn’t score in off the jumper though Dubbs.
