Skip to approx. 1:52.30 for Macca's bit. Only a few minutes long.

He’s getting too much publicity! They’re suggesting on there he could be Carrick’s first signing - Middlesbrough being the club he always followed may be too tempting for him (ok I know it’s a bit far fetched his next club will be that level but if he carries on at current rate he’ll be over 40 for the season so a big step up may well be possible). He’s definitely already worth far more than we paid for him.

It is quite bizarre being a Notts fan and having or have had,so many players attracting attention from so many clubs. Obviously good from a financial aspect, but possibly unsettling too.

Far too much attention this early in the season it would be ok at the end of the season let's hope he's as level headed the coach seems to think.

Unfortunately it's unavoidable. He was basically an unknown, and there were valid questions whether he and his strike partner could make the step up to NL. Scott has easily stepped up, and Langstaff has leaped past this level and scored a ridiculous number of goals for his new club.

Agree with 59, it's been so long since we had desirable players attracting media attention, interest and bids that it feels a bit strange and new.

I see Wrexham seem to think he has a £600k realease clause and that they think they're in with a chance, hahaha!!

Why do Wrexham fans even think they need him, they're going to walk this league aren't they?

Apparently they think if they take everyone's best players, they'll be even stronger... Why not just have faith in your own side? Maybe the realisation that they spent money on Ben Tozer is hitting home
