Didn't realize Crawford was born in Rotherham.

I think Alan Crawford went to Wickersley school. Last I heard he had retired - gone down south to live. He used to do scouting work for Burnley FC.
Seamus may have been St. Bernard's school.
Stewart Evans - always thought he was a Maltby lad originally - then had the good fortune to live in Rawmarsh.

I used to visit Danny Williams sports shop regularly, 2-3 shops away from Midland Opticians, next to church.

Once saw Gordon Morritt score a unbelievable goal while playing centre-forward for Rotherham
United reserves in the North Regional League at Millmoor.
He was on the by-line other side of the goal-post, yet he managed to screw the ball into the near corner,
the referee & linesman were looking for holes in the netting, because how he did it, no one new, but it
    was a perfectly good goal.
