Deeply concerning that both Birighittii and Mulgrew got game time yesterday. These games should be for players who might actually play some part in the first team in the coming season.

Mulgrew I don't have an issue with. I think he's a decent player, will be even better in the Championship.

Not sure I agree about Charlie Mulgrew, his frequent f-ups towards the end of last season made me think he's lost quite a lot of composure and ability.

I would love it if he could strike one of his vintage free kicks into the top corner like he used to do every now and then. But when was the last time we saw that? Certainly not during the business end of last season when he was more ike Calamity Jane.

I would rather part ways with Mulgrew TBH. I think that's the best scenario for both parties here.

As for Birighitti? I agree, get him out ASAP. I'm sure we will bring in a new No1 though. Just hope it is sooner rather than later.

But of patience required on our part I feel.

Mulgrew has another year on his contact and I think he'll be useful for us in the squad for the forthcoming season. Certainly I'd keep him ahead of paying him out of his contact.

It's obvious we're not paying up contracts Terry, even 50%, but there's the option to say to any contracted player that he's not in the managers plans, go find another club. Which imo is what we should be doing with Birighitti and Mulgrew. Maybes Watt too.

I have heard the Indian Crisp want's £100,000 to leave.Phuck know's what Mulgrew requires but my guess is at least double that figure.
