So the club loses a vast amount of money? Great idea.

Like every club in Scotland does, suck it up, and Police it properly. Buts that’s Police Scotlands problem.

Why should DFC and every other club in Scotland suffer, because of these mutants?

It costs the Football Clubs including Dundee FC a lot of money if they pay solely for Police Scotland officers to be responsible for security at all football matches with a far greater number of Police Scotland officers on duty when we are playing Rangers and Celtic at home.
That is why security firms are employed to save money by football clubs including Dundee FC but it backfires when we play Rangers and Celtic at home and the security staff on duty do nothing to stop the marauding hordes of Old Firm not adhering to the laid down rules for spectators at all seated football stadiums.

Does everything need to be about money? By standing up to these clowns we might make money in the long term.

If the club says **** our own fans we just want old firm money then we can all make our choices. More Dundee fans turned up for Livingston game than Rangers . Says it all

Probably 400/500 more. If we want to get better players the club needs to maximise every revenue stream. Unfortunately that includes the ugly sisters money.

Also, we are no longer a so called sleeping giant. The attendance for the last 2 games has been an embarrassment. We’ve got a core support of 4500, and the club and Directors should maximise every revenue stream possible.

In my opinion the Club are not maximising every revenue stream possible.
    1. The 1893 Foundation would be better supported if it was stated that the funds donated would be handed over to the manager to increase his playing budget. This happens at Aberdeen and Ayr United.
Up to a fortnight ago the 1893 Foundation page had not been updated on the Club website since April 2022.
    2. The Club are missing a trick in their sponsorship of players.
We only have sponsorship of first team players jersey whereas other SPFL clubs advertise sponsorship of players shorts and also socks.
The goalkeepers gloves are also sponsored in other SPFL clubs.
The manager and the rest of his team should be available for sponsorship which happens in other clubs.
    3. Hospitality is too expensive.
£198 including VAT for last Wednesday night’s home game against Rangers was ridiculous. The club need to charge realistic prices if they want to sell out hospitality every home game.

Hospitality is too expensive for the ordinary fan, but businesses will pay the price. Out of interest, how much would you charge.

The days of the Bank of Scotland, RBS and Clydesdale Bank taking a table of ten for every home league game in the most expensive hospitality lounge in Dens Park are long gone.
It will take me quite a while to research what is a realistic charge for hospitality at Dens Park.
However at the Dundee V Dundee United reserve match at North End Park on Tuesday 17th October 2023 I was speaking to a Dundee supporter who told me that The Barrels charge £35 for a three course meal and five free drinks. He also said that North End JFC have a similar package charging the same price.
If the Barrels and North End JFC can charge these prices then surely it cannot be beyond Dundee Football Club to charge a similar price for their hospitality plus £26 for an Adult ticket price for a Category B game and an extra £10 to cover the half time purvey, match programme and team sheet.
This equates to a total cost of £71 for hospitality including five free drinks.
When I was a member of Downfield Golf Club the gross profit on alcoholic drinks sold in the bars in the club was over 50% and it is likely to still be the same.
