The difference in class was immense

Although we still didn't have our strongest, when all fully fit team out, and were about 50% under par, we could have had 2,3 or 4 more.

I'd give big odds against their team getting promotion on this showing, which considering the game should have been their best side.

Also if they did somehow sneak promotion they would certainly be odds on to suffer the drop with a low points margin.

Aye - they weren't quite the side that their fans made out would "do" us

quite a wake up call for a few of them, I think.

Plenty on Clowns 'r' Us reckoned they would turn us over easily if we ever met....well this was the result.

And, in truth, much as we controlled the game easily, there were huge gaps in our midfield that a better team would have exploited.

Great day for us, very tough day for them.

Just the way it should be.

They almost had me feeling sorry for them by how easy it was. The looks on their supporter's faces was unbelievable.

    Total disbelief.

Christ I’m rough today. The game itself was surprisingly easy. We cruised through the game in second gear. I genuinely thought they’d put up more of a fight.

    worth it though, eh?

Looking back, it was easy but watching at the time I was a bag of nerves.

Where’s Drearyside? Perhaps off to collect his winnings?
Men against boys. We never broke sweat. There must be a few nursing broken delusions on wearside today.
