Aye - I'm beginning to believe as well Zip.
It's a bit ridiculous the bad luck we've been hit with.
I think it will expedite the look for the midfield however, it also means that City know were more desperate than we were before.
Out for 6 weeks at least. I could seriously start believing we're cursed
Hugely light in midfield now -in a literal sense as well as numbers. We're too easy to pass through as it is and teams have worked that out
Maybe this will be the incentive we need to go for Philips on loan.

Aye, they will, Jammy but, if we can get him on loan for a few million, then he'd definitely give us better protection than I suspect we'll have when Joelinton is out.
Needs must, imo.
Yup.
Someone else has just said to me - why would Eddie announce to the world about Joelinton, knowing that we needed a replacement unless the deal was already done. . .
I live in hope of their thought
Interesting idea...not sure I buy it, though.
If you believe in curses, get ya'sel a gypo's rabbit foot and give ia good rub for luck then have a word! 🤣
Time × pressure = erosion.
Joelinton, like those who have stayed relatively fit, has carried the load of 2 players. No rest, came back from Injury a little early on 2 occasions now because the cupboard is bare for EH.
Playing the extra 20-30 mins a match due to all subs being injured those who ahev been player are in dangerous levels of muscle fatigue which is when & how these injuries occur
Are our physios/medical team up to the job?
It also does seem like we're jinxed if we were to look at it from a thought of some kind of voodoo but the reality is, it's just bad luck when you consider the actual injuries to most which is not due to Eddies over training or over endurance in matches mostly. Some may be but the rest are simply bad luck/timing and potentially not being correctly dealt with by our physios/medical team, maybe.
That's my outside in view and I could be totally wrong.
Defo need a midfielder in on loan for sure
Coming round to the idea of loans unless the right player becomes available. We don't need a load of stop gap players on 3 or 4 year deals taking up space and FFP headroom.
This is a bstard of a season for injuries
