Arachnophobia- the fear of arachnids
Claustrophobia - the fear of enclosed/small spaces.
So theoretically Islamophobia should be - the fear of Islam.
It is not the fear of Muslims!
It would be 'Muslimophobia' if so!
This is because "Islam' is a religion not a race or person!
Logic should now tell us that because Islam is a religion, not a race, Lee Andersons comments cannot be racist as he wasn't talking about a race.
We do not have Sharia law in this country. We can and should be able to criticise whatever religion we like!
And lawmakers should realise, it's not against the law to criticise Islam in this country.
No more than it is racist to criticise a country/city like Israel, Palestine or London, because there is no law saying you can't speak badly of a place either.
People need to stop saying comments are racist everytime someone says something they don't like or don't want to hear.
Being an Islamist as defined by all these dictionaries is
Oxford Dictionary- ISLAMIST
'a person who believes that political systems should be based on the teachings of Islam'
Collins dictionary - ISLAMIST
'An islamist is someone who believes strongly in Islamic ideas and laws'
Cambridge dictionary - ISLAMIST
'Relating to Islam, or to a strong belief that Islam should influence political systems'
So not only was he not racist, he was also correct about Khan and the current state of London.
These days in the UK you get the sack for speaking the truth.
He isn't wrong about Radicals influencing politics.
