There is no weakness in the club - Eddie Howe's Pre-Brighton Press Conference

This comment is very interesting. It's a big statement that the club are not at the whims of the 'big clubs'.

"There is no weakness in the club to say we are going to sell anyone. But, of course, financial fair play is there and we'll have to comply like everyone else. That's why I've said this summer is going to be a very difficult thing to predict. But there is no desire from anyone at the football club to sell our best players."

    Very positive.

Makes clear to Isaak and Bruno how key they are for us as well.

    Completely clear Jammy mate.

All the noise about the club having to sell them and that they'd jump ship in a heart beat for the Gunners or the Red filth is from know nothing MSM muppets like Cokie Ferdinand, the Clown Cundy, the Mong Merson or the rat Owen.

No one in and around the club ever mentioned that we'd need to sell the crown jewels, in fact quite the opposite. Throughout the season, each time of asking everyone from Eales to Howe who was asked has talked about stability, building a team around the star players, the spirit of the group and the clubs ambition to grow in line with the likes of Bruno, Isak, Gordon etc.

Even players like Harvey Barnes, who could have got to any number of Premier League clubs saw NUFC as the best option to advance his career. Joelinton committed the next 5 yrs of her career to the club.

    We're rock solid.

We're reaching a point of 'critical mass'. What I mean is that players are other Prem Clubs, Young European Talent and the vast wealth of quality players the Fraudie's academies who will never see minutes on the pitch at Chelsea, Man City, Utd etc are look at Newcastle as the best place for them to grow their profile and achieve their career ambitions.

    Long may it continue.
