Total belters the Fun so they are
They started their miserable journey as a club in the top division, where as we had to start from the bottom tier
This meant they had all the support in the city as they were formed before us (17years before) so we had a lot of catching up to do
It took as the best part of 50 years to establish ourselves as a top flight club, but since then we have either matched or overtaken everything they have done in their history
More Scottish cup finals more league cup finals-2 Scottish cup wins at Hampden-more players capped for Scotland-Better head to head record- A European final and eventually matched their trophy haul
Only thing they can better is that they have been in the top flight more seasons than us
But Everton have spent more time in the top flight than Liverpool
Does that make them more successful?
I don’t think so
I rest my case
Couldna think o anything worse! If you were on the bus, i couldna stand you going on about the axe, Shedka on about attendances and whatever pish that would take yir fancy!
As it happens, i have Anfield on my bucket list, but Newcastle is just that wee bit higher on the list, but cant find myself doing that with Ashley in charge. Being a football fan first, i also have Spurs, West Ham, Villa, Derby County, Nottingham Forest and even Everton and Wolves on the list.
However, all that will probably never happen as my heart will always follow my home team if work allows. Never set foot in Dens again!
