It is not our business to know whether SD has been offered the job, whether SD wants the job, or is indeed interested in the job. It is a matter for SD, his current employers and any prospective new employer.
I don't support a manager --I support a football club and have done so for 65 years which is almost half the lifetime of the club. At no time have the club consulted me about who should be the manager, which players we should sign etc. ---and they never will.
Good luck to SD who has done a good job and, hopefully, will continue to do so in his own inimitable, professional manner.
You miss my point Super. I understand the situation and have no problem with Sean moving on. I don’t expect to be consulted - where did that come from?
However it seems he is using minions to actively flog what’s seems to be a dead horse. It seems from Nixon that he put his name in the frame, no one has been interested, no one has approached him or the club. So why keep doing it? I don’t expect him to say he isn’t interested in any job, but when it’s now down to fourth in line and he has still not been contacted surely he must have some pride or as I said earlier - is he really that desperate to leave.

To emphasise my point Sam has just withdrawn - if like Sean he ever was under consideration.

I wonder who told the media of Sean’s £3.5M release clause - not the club I suggest and if Everton never asked there can only be one answer.

    Silva has too many questions.

Will be fun if Unsworth loses his next three games.

Nicked from the Guardian footie page...

"And Sam Allardyce has ruled himself out of the Everton job, having not at all spent the past few weeks tossing out come-and-get-me pleas left, right and centre. “I think when you’re sat in my position you want people to be decisive and feel like they want you. I didn’t get that feeling overall,” he sobbed."

...and still not a whisper of the Burnley manager.

    More from Sam,

'It never materialised as I thought it would, unfortunately,' Allardyce said.*'For me such a long time without a decision, I had to make a decision myself.'

'The decision was it was probably better it wasn't me, and I'd move on to something else,' Allardyce added. 'It would have been a fabulous job, but it just didn't feel right.

'I think when you're sat in my position you want people to be decisive and feel like they want you. I didn't get that feeling overall.
'They were hesitating that I was the man.'

I think anyone reading that and still thinking Sean might take the job when he's clearly even less wanted than Sam, needs their bumps felt. Sean has no need to say anything, he's not going to be taking the Everton job, even if they asked him, which they haven't FFS.

Not really sure why this is rumbling on, Dyche has never commented on this sort of speculation, and he never will, it's not going to happen, none of it, neither Dyche discussing it, nor the move to Everton.

OC -it appears that we missed each others points! lol
My mention of not being consulted was just a statement to emphasise the fact that we, as fans, have no influence over anything
that happens in the upper echelons of our club.
it just seems to me that the media just keep regurgitating the same snippets in order to fill column inches.

    Super
Why this is rumbling on is because Nixon’s suggests someone in Dyches camp keeps it burning and needs to stop.
I just ask why they keep doing it?
As for Sean he did comment and his initial reaction was actually about being flattered to feature.

Sounds like no one is for now, but wait till Unsworth fails.
