It'll be an uncomfortable and horrible game for us but let's ruin the smug ****s day.

We need to go out to score goals to win this final. We will more than likely go out to stop conceding goals which will ultimately blow up in our face when Celtic score in the first half. I wish we had the balls to be more positive and take the game to Celtic but McInnes prefers the timid approach (which has won us no finals against them under him).
For the avoidance of doubt about the Scottish cup final bringing on Anthony O’Connor and taking off a forward thinking player changed the flow of the game which caused us our defeat. McInnes is a big game bottler....be prepared for the same next Sunday!

    Wrong approach in my opinion.
One that would play into Celtics hands.
Your suggesting giving Celtic the space to exploit, which they would.

The final will be very similar to the semi in that the cheek opponent will have the vast majority of the pressure and possession while we won’t string two passes together & will be constantly giving the ball away & just making it worse.

As with the semi, we’ll just be hoping to get something on the rare occasion we’re up the park.

Sadly, the difference is Timothy aren’t utter mince up front like Sevco and the chances of us holding out to sneak a win or pens are very slim indeed.

You can still have a proper go at them and defend properly. It’s the coaching that is all wrong...the balance of our usual selections against Celtic are very negative which limits our attacking. It’s goals that win matches.
Anyone that thinks we have a good chance next week must be off their rocker. Celtic will turn up for the cup final to win, we will probably toss a coin to decide if we make it hard for them.

Dom Ball will defo start, as will Cosgrove. Certain of that. DM will try and use muscle over skill in an attempt to thrawrt Sellic

    Lewis

    Logan
    Devlin
    McKenna
    Consi

    Ball

    GMS
    Fergie
    Shinnie
    Lowe

    Cosgrove

If Devlin doesn't start, Consi will step into central defense, Lowe to LB and probably McGinn to left midfield

U16s won the academy cup today against Hearts. A very good Hearts team as well. Get them registered for the weekend.

If he drops Lowe for that horse Considine he needs his head read.
    Considine against Forrest?

All this obsession he has with size is laughable.

In his post match interview he said we lacked size without Devlin - his replacement Considine is taller!

That’s exactly how I see it.
DM will tactically try & replicate the semi final.
No way the Dhims won’t rattle a few in with 66% possession.

We got lucky against the huns, especially as they didn’t have Lafferty or the Colombian mongol available.
