Ashley Maitland Niles released by the Arse and is available, and we need wingbacks 😄

Is this the same Mansfield who beat us last time we played and, but for a couple of bad results, could have been promoted last season to play at the same level as us?? It's important to keep perspective....

One thing that did amaze was he mentioned having between 20 and 22 players in the squad. I'd have expected 24 to 26....
Warne has said previously he doesn't like having large squads, managing players who may rarely get a game is not his style. I guess the aim would have some in the u23 squad who could step up if required.

Wass was on a hiding to nothing. The issues with the EFL had seen many players leaving, many of the 21 squad were U18s, 18s were mainly U16s. Both age group sides had poor seasons and it was not down to Wassall. It was more fallout from the club's collapse caused my Mel, who just happens to be Wass's father in law...

Wasn’t criticising Wass, MA...and I didn’t know MM is his FiL. The guy from Southampton does have a good reputation though as those tables of TTR’s perhaps suggest.
