Poor performance on the pitch, I hope Eddie is able to make these ‘hard decisions’ he mentioned, and I hope we have the funds to add another 3 or 4 players on top of any free’s (Kelly and/or Tosin)

Mixed thoughts on Europe… on one hand it would be a lot easier to play the league games and focus on that to shoot for a top 4 spot, but even conference gives coefficient points… and we’d still be in pot 4 next time we qualify for CL as it stands today… so anything helps, and we should be a strong team outside of the CL… so a chance of another cup.

Typical that our season ends like this. What a time to have an off day. Too many players not good enough/not on good form due to a monumentally bad injury situation this season.

You can’t help but admit that we have done well (even 8th) as a result. Didn’t Zip say that the AVERAGE finish in the PL after a first season in the CL is 8th?

Aye, that's the average. And, considering our injuries, the fact that we're even in with a shout of 6th never mind 8th is testament to how well Eddie has done.

No, he's not blameless -no manager is -but, like I say, his plan to beat Man U was sound but we were let down by lack of quality. And VAR
