Has always been a good player despite what some of our support think, always rated by opposition fans too, showed it in 19/20 and 21/22 especially, when he was in a team that was organised well by Neilson and Courts
He'd have been an asset this season at this level (and better than what we currently have) but tbf think his time over here was over with even for personal reasons alone but a good servant over the 4.5 seasons for DUFC
It seems to me the majority of United Fans really need to go into a darkened room and hide for the next 10 months!
Its gonna be a long hard window to get through, a long 5 months to the end of the next, and a slow, slow death to the end of the season and ultimately play off failure!
Im still hopeful that whatever way the 2 to 5 rumoured departures are resolved, it will be to our advantage. Maybe a couple of others should be replaced, whether that is by youngsters given a chance, or bringing in others.
I may be about to go against what ive said about Watt recently, as he has just made an injury comeback ahead of schedule, and maybe should have made a better vice-captains decision and handed the ball to someone else for the pen. I am willing to wait to see if he can prove us wrong as the season starts for real, but if he fails, get him out at the end of the window.
As much as think Watt is a useless prick I can't criticise him taking a penalty. I always wonder about attackers that don't. That said, can't see him taking the next one.
dreadful penalty.
This all because Harkes left
Apparently........😒
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It baffles me why any player finds it so difficult to take a decent penalty. Even I know where a goalkeeper will always struggle to save a well struck shot. How many times do you see penalties hit about a foot of the ground and half way between the middle of the goal and the post? Gets right on my tits to be honest.
Listening on the radio as i did as some of us need to work weekends, Watt im sure had a chance clean through on goal just before the penalty, and was denied by a challenge. The pundits seemed to say that part of the reason he was caught was he was done in at the time and was getting subbed soon. Stand by my previous that he should have done the V-C thing and allowed someone else to take the kick.
