I hate the old firm with every fibre and I only want to play them when we have to.

The rest of Scottish football should have nothing to with these two apart from when we have to.

They care only about themselves and we are just bit parts in their annual battle to see who wins everything.

To actually invite them and their fans to Dens is sickening.

But then those that run the club have zero feeling for the club and zero idea what those that have been going for generations think.

    Shame on everyone who participates.

    Oops, hate.

It might have been 3d for children.
Prior to about 1958 the enclosure underneath the Main Stand was the only part of the standing area of the ground which was covered.
The rest of the terracing was open to the elements.
The wing stands were cheaper than the centre stand as spectators used to sit on long wooden benches.
My father used to take me to Section G of the Main Stand.
The prices might be listed in some of the programmes from the 1950’s and 60’s.
Jim Mitchell of the Dundee FC historical trust has old programmes and he might be able give details of the different admission prices.
    Ah, the good old days.

    Rickets, diphtheria etc etc.

Strange time for a testimonial, winter, shortly before Xmas, same night as a Scotland game and against a B team. Hopefully he gets a decent gate but we're Laurel and Hardy organising this ?

And people not being mollycoddled but instead having to use their own initiative.

This match should have been played as a pre season friendly as nowadays there are now hardly any free midweeks available to play testimonial matches during the football season.
