Dunno why Kerr wont admit to being a tory unless he is secretly too ashamed to admit it...I would feel very ashamed of myself if i came out with the stuff he puts on here which shows a complete disregard for people who are much worse off than than himself...

Are you confusing him with Kempo?

He hasn’t for a few months, but I’m sure it will come again. I see that I am IBS further down the thread...

I’ve already explained several times, Roly and it’s very simple, but I’ll say it again for you. I don’t admit to being a Tory, because I am not. I have never been a member of any political party and have never voted Tory in a GE despite having voted in every one since 1983.

As for me putting the ‘stuff on here which shows a complete disregard for people who are much worse off than himself’, I think you may be in danger of having another: ‘I didn’t characterise May' moment. Can you give an example? I’ve posted many time about the misery of the Venezuelan people living under the Socialist regime that Corbyn can’t bring himself to criticise. Should he be ashamed, do you think?

As an aside, have you ever thought about becoming a racist? You show real skill at blind prejudice against people who aren’t a member of your tribe. I think you’d make a much better job of racism than you do being an ‘anti-fascist’ or however you would characterise yourself.

Ok, I'll try again Kerr. I keep trying as you keep denying you're a tory but seem to endorse centre right Tory policy so completely, you can understand the scepticism. But I'll try once again to give you the opportunity to clarify what you do stand for.

    1. What exactly, apart from your personal dislike of your local Tory MP, do you not like about Tory policy that stops them from winning your vote?

    2. What key policy changes would you like a Government to bring in to improve society and the economy further from where we are now?

    3. What policy initiatives have previous parties shown in historical elections that have secured your vote?

Genuinely interested. As I've said before, I do believe you when you say that you haven't voted Conservative but I can understand why some are cynical when you so appear to so passionately endorse only conservative policies. I suspect you're a sneaky Blairite?!

Corbyn appears to say one thing and Starmer says something quite different.
If push came to shove and Labour was elected as the new government it would soon become apparent that they are just as split and indeindecisive as the Tories.
The whole thing is an absolute mess and it won't get resolved any time soon because neither of the main parties have a clear strategy.
Dont blame Labour for the mess. Blame the Brexiteers that voted us out.

    Us! Who is us exactly?

We all want different things, and Brexit will deliver some fantastic opportunities for some businesses and will cause massive issues for others (supply chain for example)

The biggest losers will be the super rich not the poor, how the super rich are able to convince people who have nothing that they will have less after Brexit is laughable. No one on here in Whitehall or Brussels will know what the eventual outcome will be as it plays out, the good thing is that we can choose to make it work for the better.

Some people will moan forever, those that excel will get on with it and prosper miserable moaners never succeed in business and never will.

So the Brexiteers voted us out but then the politicians including pretty much every labour politician who I saw on the TV apart from John Mann have been against leaving and telling us that we didn’t vote for this or that type of Brexit!!!

We have people marching for a vote on the final deal. When they are flying the EU flag which way do you think they’ll vote? Same with the politicians who are asking for a vote.

The politicians from both sides are making this into the farce it is. If they would accept the result of the referendum and accepted we were leaving the EU (not trying to cling on to certain aspects) then fair enough.

I was asked a question at the referendum and I answered it. I was willing to accept any hardship that went with it.

The people want to leave but there are too many politicians that don’t seem to believe in democracy and unfortunately they have more say than us!!

Where have I blamed Labour for the mess?
I've said that I don't know what their Brexit policy is (does anybody?) because their leader says one thing and their Brexit secretary says something completely different.
The Tories are making a complete mess of things, Labour quite rightly criticise this, but significantly fail to say what they would do.
Hope that's clear enough for you.

    Struggling with the answer Kerr?

Ill give you a clue. He played a leading part in our negotiations with the EU.

Follow up question: A key function of the opposition party is to hold the Government to account for promises it makes to the electorate. Do you agree or disagree?
