no arguments about your airidrie point, if ballantyne had paid the price he could have bought the club and other assets from the liquidators and saved the club but he didnt have the money unlike charles greens consortium at rangers

buying a club from a company has happened numerous times before, the people who sold rangers say it happened, everyone important in football , the law and business says it happened and you have no evidence stating otherwise - the only stupid one here is you - keep it up thicko

so he didn't have the money to buy Airdrieonians but he had the money to buy Clydebank? Airdrie would have cost about 1p to buy, they had no assets, nothing. What they did have, was debt, and it's this that stopped Airdrie being bought. The same as it stopped Rangers being bought.

When did Rangers play Hawick

No-one but you thinks what happened to Hearts in 1904 is relevant in 2014.

Hearts also survived as a club, they kept playing in the same league, they had the same players, they kept the same stadium, none of this happened with Rangers.
