Just had a look, bout 20 seats left in the Famalam.
Here's my projections of capacity per stand, (including cameras and restrictions), just guesswork, so I welcome anyone else's opinion.
JS: 3,880.
DP: 7,000.
Kop: 5,000.
FS: 2,130.
Just a tad over 18,000 if it's a sell out.
If it was a tad over 18,000, yes it would be.
Ten highest attendances since the ground rebuilding was completed Summer 1994
1. Fri 18/May/2018 17,615 v Coventry City
2. Sat 3/Feb/2018 17,274 v Crewe Alexandra
3. Wed 26/Oct/1994 16,952 v Tottenham Hotspur
4. Sun 30/Jan/2011 16,587 v Manchester City
5. Sat 19/Nov/2022 16,511 v Yeovil Town
6. Sat 25/Mar/2023 16,086 v S****horpe United
7. Sun 7/May/2023 15,672 v Boreham Wood
8. Sat 20/Apr/2002 15,618 v Huddersfield Town
9. Sat 12/Jan/2019 15,026 v Cambridge United
10. Sat 8/Jan/2005 13,671 v Middlesbrough
Not sure how we reach 18,000 unless safety certificates are alterd , the folowing game as reference
Coventry v Notts playoff - gate 17,458 with 4,600 away , thats nearly 700 or 800 more visitors than mansfield, meaning that another approx 1300 more notts supporters would have to fit in, and the coventry match was a sell out ?
UTM had that Coventry attn listed as 17,615, not massively different. I did say it was only a guesstimate. Praps allowing 7,000 for the DP and 5,000 for the Kop is on the high side? I did look the DP capacity and FS capacity up on-line and as far as I know there are no restrictions in either?
According to the ML wiki page, these are the number of seats (NOT capacity) in each stand:
DP - 6,715
FS - 2,281
Kop - 5,440
JS - 5,775
Total - 20,211
So you can take about 2,000 off that total (for the JS) to start with. We don't know if there are restrictions in the other stands, or just the JS.
Edit - This Nottm CC report from 2004 confirms those numbers. At that time, we were allowed to use all seats (except for segregation if required in JS). There's probably a more recent report knocking around - https://committee.nottinghamcity.gov...ertificate.pdf

That's the figure on the BBC report at the foot of the line-ups...

Interestingly, the Nottm City Council report from 2021 states that there are NO restrictions in place and the capacity (where the JS is all away fans) is 20,211 BUT:
Where the capacity in the Jimmy Sirrel Stand is proposed to exceed 4400 spectators, the Holder shall, no later than four**** days before the Specified Activity, produce an event specific risk assessment and a management plan that details the measures to be implemented to address overcrowding risks associated with the concourse, for discussion at an extraordinary Safety Advisory Group meeting.
Clough junior looking forward to the match.
