    Ain’t it funny how the media went to town making out that SA is a country that has a poor human rights record (which it is). They slated celebs and sportsman alike that went over their on business and financial gains? E.g Anthony Joshua fighting there and many more.. now players from here going there… not one single mention about these players and their morals. Sod’s law eh.

    Exactly! Thing is Regis those with money just want more! Those with lots of money usually are the most miserable f uckers around! Love going to the father in laws town - deprived but people far happier and more generous

    To me this is all about pure greed. The individuals they want to attract are hardly poorly off in the first case ffs!! I wouldn't mind so much if just once a player stood up and either said no to them or else pledged the majority of their fee to a charity-preferably one that fought for better equalities in that country.

    It’s insane what goes on Al. Part me hopes football ends in SA and rest of the leagues suffer - it’s just a greed organisation. I don’t blame those going for the money, who wouldn’t? I just wish there was a cap on how far this can go.
