I believe it's something to do with a rival site!?

Wilson’s latest injury was a freak and not a recurrence of an old one.

For me we need to keep him… Isak should be first choice next season with Wilson second fiddle… but when he plays, he scores… and we won’t replace his goals cheaply when we need to spend in other positions first.

I know it’s the ‘when he plays’ that’s an issue, but we also have Gordon who can go central if needed too.

For me, he stays here and contributes to the squad (possible European comp next season too) rather than go to West Ham, Brentford etc or even a backup number 9 at one of those so called top 6… who in reality all need someone to call on… Wilson leaving will make us weaker and any opponents squad stronger.

    He's not getting any younger..

I can't see him wanting to stay as second fiddle to Isak so I think he will be away.. possibly one of the promoted teams

I agree that Gordon can do a job there, however, I really think we need a different style of player. A mobile Unit. Yes I know, I should get a room for the amount of times I've hyped Sesko to sign, it's getting boring for me too haha.

Having a 3rd striker, keeping Wilson would be the ideal situation. Isak first choice, new lad & Wilson to fight it out between them.

Last 10 mins chasing a game hoy the lot of 'um on.

    Howay the Keegan days haha

He always says stuff like that - although in Wilsons case I think he believes this. However, I think it might be taken out of his hands to a degree and Wilson being sold.

However, I'd be happy if we kept him for another season because he does offer something different and he's clearly a key part of the club/leadership culture.

Yep, agree with all of that, Jammy. Hopefully we add a bit of competition, too. We've only got 2 strikers and you could almost guarantee that they'll both be injured at the same time at some point next season.

Cheers for the V ital clarification Jam jam!

I echo your sentiment completely. He's a great personality, 'a mentality monster' so to speak. Tough to replace in that regard.
