but they’ve signed 9 players today.

No punishment for refusing to play Doncaster. No action from the cancellation of the Brentford game last year.
What message does this send out?

This is very annoying. They have now signed TEN players today, most of which I HAVE heard of, including Emmanuel, and a Donny player who should have played AGAINST Bolton in the game they called off. That can't be right, or good for the future of the Football League. They have got to change the rules on this.

Also makes a mockery of our attempts to sign players - that's ten in one day, Mr Stewart! Doesn't seem like negotiating with the players, clubs, agents, etc was particularly difficult for Bolton. Can only guess that we won't pay the going rate, or are useless at negotiating, or both.

I would guess that they are on decent wages as well or why join a club on -11 points and likely to be docked further points hopefully.

Hi kent, not necessarily more wages.
Ipswich released him by mutual consent, he’s not part of their plans.
He’s signed for Bolton on a 12 month deal. At his age he needs to be playing first team football, he could well have been understudy to Olosunde and not first choice if he signed for us.

Football Ventures recently took a loan of £2M from the PFA.

Ten signings, six are free transfers and it looks like a Premiership club and three Championship clubs have helped them out with loan deals.

He is more or less guaranteed first team football at Bolton. I would rather have Olusunde, we also have Jones. So maybe he was worried he would be 3rd choice.

But its not only like us is it. We were in the **** but we still had a relatively competitive team during those troubled times. We didn't suddenly become competitive after we were saved. No one had a huge advantage while playing us before we were bailed out by TS.

Mike. That's why Bolton have had the problems they've had. Overspending
I'd rather we didn't do that.
I bet Steve Evans would Have signed Josh Emmanuel but we don't really need him as we've got enough cover.
We can get most of our transfer targets if we pay twice their value and offer them daft wages.

We've signed twelve or so players with some very encouraging ones. We just need a game plan and we'll have a great season. Fear not

Do you think anyone would get a reply if they wrote in, asking how and when they intend handling the Bolton infringements from last season and this season refusing to play Doncaster?
