As a club, we've been talking about unfinished business from last year and targeting promotion.
How we can do that by selling our best defender and top goalscorer is mystifying to say the least.
6 days to sort it..if we don't then we are in for a very difficult season!

I predict we won't pay that for any Roofe replacement.

MB wasn't kidding when he said he wanted a " small, tight " squad - joking apart its getting crazy, too many things need sorting asap.

I don't know what the point of persuading Bielsa to stay was if they don't support him in the transfer window. Surely MB would have asked for assurances before he stayed on. Its a puzzler. Unless off course he thinks the youth can step up. They may be capable of doing so if they were given half a chance. Shacks took every opportunity given to him and still couldn't get a game. If Bamford doesn't supply the goods after the 1st few games he should be stood down.

I think that's the key, Bielsa HAS been persuaded to stay, and we know he isn't one to commit unless he gets what he wants. So, the "developments" of late would suggest he is getting what he wants?

Maybe he wants to play 10 wingers.

    Alioski
    Dallas
    Costa
    Clarke
    Hernandez
    Gotts
    Stevens
    mcCarron
    Harrison
    Shackleton

With Kent on the bench if we sign him

Who knows but history suggests if he wasn’t happy he would just walk out

Have we scrapped together the 10 mill we need to sign Kent?

Precisely. But there is always the question as to whether he has got it right. We all thought going into last season with a squad that was "middling" at best was "questionable", and look what happened. But he said himself that the squad couldn't deliver the same performance again, and if anything the squad is smaller than last season and with Jansson, Roofe (?), BPF and a whole host of youngsters gone, there's even less flesh on the bones.
