I was 14 yrs old and only found out the night before that me and my bro had got some tickets...only surpassed by the birth of my daughter...great day indeed...

About 12 of us hired a mini-van for the trip from Stratford to Wembley. On the way home we stopped at Capital Radio And sang bubbles for the DJ , can't remember his and he wouldn't have been there on a Saturday anyway, who was a Hammers fan. We came across a couple of street parties in North London full of sad looking gooners, jumped out and gave them bubbles as well before being chased out of the area. Got back to the King's Head next to West Ham Church and got well and truly drunk. Happy days. Hope some of you youngsters get to experience something similar in the not too distant future. COYI.
